In this exhibition, the algorithm plots the coordinates, the brush travels the distance between them, and as a result we arrive farther than either could on its own.
Perhaps the singularity has already happened, and we simply haven't noticed. Perhaps it is happening right now, as you read this text. In any case, we are on the way to a moment when it will no longer be possible to distinguish which ideas are ours and which are created by synthetic minds.

I paint along the seam between control and chance. Each work begins with a structure I impose—geometric, botanical, or algorithmic—then develops in oil by hand, where the material resists, drifts, and introduces what I cannot predict. The painting is honest when it conceals neither side: the imposed order and the risk both remain visible in the finished surface. This oscillation between structure and randomness mirrors the processes that shape complex systems from simple rules. I am drawn to the long arc of life—from single-cell organisms to beings that now leave Earth on rocket ships accompanied by synthetic minds. My practice combines an engagement with the tools and materials of painting with an interest in these larger patterns. The goal is an honest painting: one that holds intellectual substance, rewards close looking, and keeps the tension between craftsmanship and chance.
